Belle Isle Park, sometimes known as Belle Isle, is a 982-acre island park in Detroit, Michigan that was built in the late 1800s. It comprises of Belle Isle, a Detroit River island, as well as many nearby islands. Because the US-Canada boundary is located in the strait south of Belle Isle, the island is not part of Canada.
