We are thrilled to have Meridian Health Plan as our title sponsor for the second year! \nSome of the great winter festivities include the Meridian Health Plan Snow Slide; Meridian Health Plan sponsored Snow Shoeing\, FREE Ice Skating on Campus Martius rink sponsored by St. John Providence Health System\, Marshmallow roasting courtesy of MetroPCS\, Professional Skating Demonstrations presented by W.H. Canon\, and many more! \nDetroit’s music scene will be on display on two stages\, with more than 50 entertainment acts performing! Hop inside the Taste of Detroit food and vendor tent to sample delicious Metro Detroit restaurants and shop from local stores and artisans. Meridian Winter Blast will also feature a special Kid Zone! Throughout that event there will be several Comfort Stations where guests can warm up! \nMeridian Winter Blast has an exciting history here in Detroit. In January 2005 Winter Blast\, formerly known as Motown Winter Blast\, kicked off as the official countdown to Super Bowl XL in Detroit. Winter Blast attracted more than one million people to Detroit during the Super Bowl! For the past 10 years Winter Blast continued to attract Metro-Detroiters to the exciting revitalized Downtown Detroit area! \nWe would like to thank our sponsors Meridian Health Plan\, Quicken Loans\, Detroit DDA\, Michigan Lottery\, Greektown Casino\, GM Foundation\, and many more for their tremendous support of the Meridian Winter Blast. We also thank the City of Detroit for promoting this positive experience! \n  \nFULL EVENT SCHEDULE\n\n\n\nFriday Event Schedule\n\n\n\n\n\nFRIDAY FEBRUARY 12TH\n\n\n\nACTIVITY\nHOURS\nLOCATION\nPRICE\n\n\nMeridian Snow Slide\n11am-11pm\nMichigan Avenue\n$3\n\n\nBedrock Zip Line Adventure\n11am-11pm\nWoodward Near State Street\n$10\n\n\nIce Skating \n11am-11pm\nThe Rink at Campus Martius Park\nFree ($3 Skate Rental)\n\n\nMeridian Snowshoeing\n11am-9pm\nCadillac Square\nFree\n\n\nDog Sled Exhibitions \n12\, 2\, 5\, & 7pm\nCadillac Square\nFree\n\n\nMeridian Taste of Detroit \n11am-11pm\nMonroe Street Comfort Zone\nVarious\n\n\nMarshmallow Roasting\n11am-11pm\nWoodward\, Near Hard Rock Cafe\n$3\n\n\nQuicken Loans Family Stage\n1:30pm-8:00pm\n1 Campus Martius Atrium\nFree\n\n\nMichigan Lottery Stage\n11am-11pm\nMonroe Street Comfort Zone\nFree\n\n\nSoaring Eagle Casino Stage\n11am-11pm\nCadillac Square Comfort Zone\nFree\n\n\nReading is a Blast Program\n1:30\, 2:45\, 4 & 5pm\n1 Campus Martius Atrium\nFree\n\n\nGreat Expressions Dental Hockey Shot\n6:00pm\nThe Rink at Campus Martius Park\nFree\n\n\nMichigan Science Center Activities\n4pm-7pm\n1 Campus Martius Atrium\nFree\n\n\nIce Garden presented DTE Foundation\n11am-11pm\nWoodward\, South of Snow Slide\nFree\n\n\nSkating Demonstrations \n4pm & 8pm\nThe Rink at Campus Martius Park\nFree\n\n\nMonroe Street Comfort Zone\n11am-11pm\nMonroe Street\nFree\n\n\nCadillac Square Comfort Zone\n11am-11pm\nCadillac Square\nFree\n\n\nWoodward Circle Comfort Zone\n11am-11pm\nWoodward\, South of Snow Slide\nFree\n\n\n\n\n\n\nSaturday Event Schedule\n\n\n\n\n\nSATURDAY FEBRUARY 13TH\n\n\n\nACTIVITY\nHOURS\nLOCATION\nPRICE\n\n\nMeridian Snow Slide\n11am-11pm\nMichigan Avenue\n$3\n\n\nBedrock Zip Line Adventure\n11am-11pm\nWoodward Near State Street\n$10\n\n\nIce Skating \n11am-11pm\nThe Rink at Campus Martius Park\nFree ($3 Skate Rental)\n\n\nMeridian Snowshoeing\n11am-9pm\nCadillac Square\nFree\n\n\nDog Sled Exhibitions \n12\, 2\, 4\, & 6pm\nCadillac Square\nFree\n\n\nMeridian Taste of Detroit \n11am-11pm\nMonroe Street Comfort Zone\nVarious\n\n\nMarshmallow Roasting\n11am-11pm\nWoodward\, Near Hard Rock Cafe\n$3\n\n\nQuicken Loans Family Stage\n1:30pm-8:00pm\n1 Campus Martius Atrium\nFree\n\n\nMichigan Lottery Stage\n11am-11pm\nMonroe Street Comfort Zone\nFree\n\n\nSoaring Eagle Casino Stage\n11am-11pm\nCadillac Square Comfort Zone\nFree\n\n\nReading is a Blast Program\n12\, 1:45\, 3:30 & 5:15pm\n1 Campus Martius Atrium\nFree\n\n\nGreat Expressions Dental Hockey Shot\n6:00pm\nThe Rink at Campus Martius Park\nFree\n\n\nMichigan Science Center Activities\n12pm-7pm\n1 Campus Martius Atrium\nFree\n\n\nIce Garden presented DTE Foundation\n11am-11pm\nWoodward\, South of Snow Slide\nFree\n\n\nSkating Demonstrations \n2pm & 4pm\nThe Rink at Campus Martius Park\nFree\n\n\nMonroe Street Comfort Zone\n11am-11pm\nMonroe Street\nFree\n\n\nCadillac Square Comfort Zone\n11am-11pm\nCadillac Square\nFree\n\n\nWoodward Circle Comfort Zone\n11am-11pm\nWoodward\, South of Snow Slide\nFree\n\n\n\n\n\n\nSunday Event Schedule\n\n\n\n\n\nSUNDAY FEBRUARY 14TH\n\n\n\nACTIVITY\nHOURS\nLOCATION\nPRICE\n\n\nMeridian Snow Slide\n11am-9pm\nMichigan Avenue\n$3\n\n\nBedrock Zip Line Adventure\n11am-9pm\nWoodward Near State Street\n$10\n\n\nIce Skating \n11am-9pm\nThe Rink at Campus Martius Park\nFree ($3 Skate Rental)\n\n\nMeridian Snowshoeing\n11am-9pm\nCadillac Square\nFree\n\n\nDog Sled Exhibitions \n12\, 2\, 4\, & 6pm\nCadillac Square\nFree\n\n\nMeridian Taste of Detroit \n11am-9pm\nMonroe Street Comfort Zone\nVarious\n\n\nMarshmallow Roasting\n11am-9pm\nWoodward\, Near Hard Rock Cafe\n$3\n\n\nQuicken Loans Family Stage\nNoon-6pm\n1 Campus Martius Atrium\nFree\n\n\nMichigan Lottery Stage\n11am-9pm\nMonroe Street Comfort Zone\nFree\n\n\nSoaring Eagle Casino Stage\n11am-9pm\nCadillac Square Comfort Zone\nFree\n\n\nReading is a Blast Program\n12\, 1:45\, 3:30 & 5:15pm\n1 Campus Martius Atrium\nFree\n\n\nGreat Expressions Dental Hockey Shot\n5:00pm\nThe Rink at Campus Martius Park\nFree\n\n\nMichigan Science Center Activities\nNoon-6pm\n1 Campus Martius Atrium\nFree\n\n\nIce Garden presented DTE Foundation\n11am-9pm\nWoodward\, South of Snow Slide\nFree\n\n\nSkating Demonstrations \n2pm & 4pm\nThe Rink at Campus Martius Park\nFree\n\n\nMonroe Street Comfort Zone\n11am-9pm\nMonroe Street\nFree\n\n\nCadillac Square Comfort Zone\n11am-9pm\nCadillac Square\nFree\n\n\nWoodward Circle Comfort Zone\n11am-9pm\nWoodward\, South of Snow Slide\nFree\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nsource: winterblast.com
